The Rack
About Us
We are in the business of changing lives. Since 2016, The Rack has grown from an open concrete floor into one of Atlanta's premier performance facilities, without ever losing the individual attention that built us.
Our Story
We opened our doors on February 1, 2016, right as our founder was welcoming his first child into the world. We started small, with a budget of around $30,000, basic power racks, some adjustable benches, and an open concrete floor. Thanks to a deeply loyal clientele who followed us from day one, we hit the ground running.
Over the last decade, we have expanded our footprint to an over 8,000-square-foot facility and invested over half a million dollars into top-tier equipment and sports science technology.

Proud But Never Satisfied
We are in the business of changing lives, and we believe in reinvesting in our facility, our clients, and our coaches over simply maximizing profit. We do not use stock or cookie-cutter programs. Every single client receives highly individualized programming, and we adapt our programming to fit the client rather than forcing the client to fit our programming. We also hold ourselves to the absolute highest standards of facility cleanliness.
Who We Train
Our community is incredibly diverse. We train everyone from general population clients, moms, dads, doctors, and lawyers, to high school, college, and professional athletes. We are known for our NFL combine and college pro-day prep. The professional jerseys hanging on our walls are a testament to the elite athletes who trust us, but our proudest achievement is our retention: we have clients who have been training with us for 10 to 15 years.
Data-Driven Performance
Strength and conditioning has evolved past simply putting more weight on the bar. We bring professional-level data collection to the private sector. Using state-of-the-art technology like force plates, Proteus, and 1080 motion equipment (Sprint and Cable), we validate our programming by tracking metrics like force output, asymmetries, and actual speed in miles per hour.
Our Team
In an industry known for high turnover, we are proud to have built a stable, long-term home for our coaching staff. We heavily recruit from our local college exercise science internship program, so every coach we hire has been trained to meet our demanding standards of hard work and elite service.
